What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that a website may store on a visitor's device to support certain functions, remember preferences or help understand how the website is used.
Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, can also retain information without using traditional cookies.
At Veil Gaudy, we use technologies to remember your consent preferences and, when you give us permission, analytics cookies provided by Google Analytics 4.

Types of cookies and technologies used
Essential technologies
These technologies support the operation of the website or provide functions requested by visitors.
Veil Gaudy uses browser local storage to remember the preferences selected through its consent panel.
Where a technology is strictly necessary and meets applicable legal requirements, prior consent is not required.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to help us understand how visitors interact with our website.
With your consent, we may collect statistics about:
- Visits and pages viewed.
- Interactions with website content.
- General traffic sources.
- Device and browser types.
- Approximate geographical location.
These insights help us understand interest in Veil Gaudy and improve the browsing experience.
Non-essential analytics cookies are subject to your consent.
Marketing category
Our consent panel currently includes a category labelled “Marketing”.
However, we do not currently use Meta Pixel or dedicated advertising tracking technologies to build audiences or deliver personalised advertising based on activity on our website.
If we introduce these technologies, we will update the relevant information and request any consent required before using them.
Analytics cookies identified
The following Google Analytics 4 cookies have been identified in our current website configuration:
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors using an identifier. | Google's default duration is 2 years, subject to browser restrictions. |
_ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Maintains information related to session state. | Google's default duration is 2 years, subject to browser restrictions. |
Domain: .veilgaudy.com
Category: Analytics
Type: First-party cookies used by a Google service.
The identifier included in the second cookie's name depends on the Google Analytics configuration.
Actual lifetimes may vary depending on browser restrictions, service settings and cookie renewal during browsing.
Some browsers impose shorter limits than Google's default duration. For example, Chrome may limit the lifespan to 400 days.
How we remember your consent preferences
We use browser local storage to remember your choices.
Our current implementation uses the following record:
Technical key: formacion-cookie-consent2
Storage type: Local Storage
Purpose: to remember the categories you have accepted or rejected, record the date of your choice and retain an internal configuration version.
This allows the website to retrieve your preferences and lets you change them during subsequent visits.
Unlike traditional cookies, browser local storage does not have an automatic expiry date of its own. The record may remain available until it is deleted, replaced or renewed by the consent component or through browser settings.
You may change your preferences at any time through our consent panel or remove stored website data using your browser settings.
Accepting, rejecting or changing cookies
When you visit our website, the consent panel provides the following options:
Accept all: allow the available optional categories.
Reject all: reject optional technologies requiring consent while allowing strictly necessary functions to continue.
Customise: choose which optional categories you wish to allow.
You can change or withdraw your consent later using the “Cookie preferences” control available while browsing the website.
Selecting it reopens the consent panel so that you can change your preferences, save your choices or reject all optional categories.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal on the basis of valid consent.
What happens if you reject analytics cookies?
If you reject analytics cookies, Google Analytics must not store or access analytics cookie identifiers that require your consent.
Additional technical behaviour depends on the consent management configuration in place.
Some configurations may transmit limited technical signals or cookieless measurements, while others block the analytics tag until consent is granted.
Any processing must remain consistent with your choices and applicable data protection requirements.
Google Analytics and international transfers
Google Analytics is a service provided by Google that we use to produce statistics about website activity and interactions.
Google may process certain technical and analytics information in accordance with its service terms and applicable data protection safeguards.
This processing may involve access to or transfers of information outside the European Economic Area, subject to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Managing cookies through your browser
Most browsers allow you to view, block and delete cookies and other locally stored information.
Removing this information may cause previously saved preferences to be lost or require you to configure them again.
You can manage these settings through your browser's privacy and storage controls.
Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when the technologies we use change, new providers are introduced or applicable legal requirements are amended.
Where new purposes require consent, we will provide the relevant information and request your permission before using the relevant technologies.
The current version will be available on this website.
